What is a Job Interview?
JOB INTERVIEW
1) Understanding
Job interviews are one of the recruitment processes in which applicants interact directly with a company representative. This is an opportunity for the candidate to demonstrate that he or she is the right person for the job.
2) Question and Answer (Content)
This question is asked so that the interviewer knows strengths possessed by the candidate and can be used to support their performance later.
A. Please introduce
yourself briefly.
Briefly describe your current position, background, and previous relevant experience.
B. What do you know
about our company?
The recruiter wants to see your eagerness to learn
more about the company. The recruiter can tell if you are applying randomly or
if you are interested in the company by asking this question.
C. What makes you
want to work for us?
Recruiters want to see your enthusiasm for working for
their company. This is your chance to persuade the recruiter that you want to
work for the company. Be wary of overly general responses.
D. Why are you
interested in the position?
The interviewer is interested in learning about your
motivation for applying for the position. Companies want to hire people who are
satisfied with their work. Describe what you like about the job.
E. Do you have any
relevant work experience for this position?
Recruiters are interested in learning more about your
work experience, whether it is relevant to the position you are seeking, and
how you can prepare for the position. Tell us about some of your professional
experiences.
F. What can you
contribute to the company?
This question must be answered based on your skills
and experience. You can use your previous experience at your previous
workplace, as well as your previous achievements and accomplishments, to
persuade the HRD.
G. What are your weaknesses?
The interviewer wants to know how well you know
yourself by asking this question. If you have any shortcomings, you can respond
honestly by explaining that you make it a habit to always learn so that you
can.
H. What are your strengths?
If you are asked this type of question by an interviewer,
make sure you answer your strengths, not make them up. Make your answer
relevant by selecting the skills that are most relevant to the position or
positions you are applying for.
I. Where did you
get the information about this job vacancy?
HRD wants to know how you made connections, sought
information, or became interested in the company. Respond truthfully to this
interview question. If you obtained the information from a company friend, you
can use it as an answer to demonstrate your networking abilities.
J. What do you know
about this position?
When applying for a job, you should be aware of the
job description, the primary responsibilities, and the skills required. The
hiring manager or user wants to know how much you understand and that you are
not completely unfamiliar with the position for which you are applying.
